FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for sellers evaluating Etsy research tools and LaunchForge IQ.

What is LaunchForge IQ?

LaunchForge IQ is an AI-native Etsy research platform with Product Research and AI Niche Finder. It uses official marketplace signals and explainable Opportunity Scores—without invented sales or revenue estimates.

Does LaunchForge IQ show Etsy sales or revenue estimates?

No. Etsy’s Open API does not expose public listing sales or conversion rates for this use case. We do not invent those metrics. Research focuses on competition, prices, favorites, listing age, tags, and trend momentum.

How does Opportunity Score work?

Opportunity Score combines demand, competition, price band, and momentum into a 0–100 market score. AI may add difficulty, product suggestions, and rationale, but it cannot change the deterministic market score.

Is LaunchForge IQ an EverBee alternative?

It targets similar research workflows—listing tables, niche discovery, keyword competition—while staying on official API-derived metrics. It is not a clone of EverBee’s sales-estimate features.

What plans are available?

Free includes limited niche runs and daily searches. Starter and Pro add higher or unlimited capacity with a 7-day paid-plan trial. See pricing on the homepage for current limits.

Is my research ToS-safe?

LaunchForge IQ is designed around official Etsy Open API v3 usage and transparent disclaimers. We do not scrape Etsy for unofficial private metrics. Always follow Etsy’s current developer and seller policies.

Can AI alone pick a profitable niche for me?

No. AI is useful for expanding ideas and explaining options, but marketplace data must score competition and price feasibility. Pair ideation with live or cached listing signals.

Where can I read deeper guides?

Visit the LaunchForge IQ blog for guides on niche research, product signals, keywords, shop analysis, fees, and ToS-safe tooling comparisons.
